Living my best Roman holiday life 🇮🇹💁‍♀️ Today my hubby and I jumped on the back of a Vespa… & sidecar (yes, VERY important detail 😂) and honestly felt like I was in a movie… minus the glamorous wind-blown hair… mine was giving full helmet chic 💅 But WOW… what an experience. We weren’t just doing the “tick-the-box” tourist thing… we were zipping through hidden streets, secret spots, and parts of Rome I didn’t even know existed — and this is my SECOND time here! Our guide, Valerio, was next level… like part historian, part tour guide, part Italian GPS 🇮🇹👏 He made the tour so personable-what a star ⭐️he is! 10/10 would recommend 0/10 chance I could drive one myself without causing chaos 😅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️review! This was hands down the best tour my family and I have ever experienced. Valerio and Claudio were fantastic—both professional and genuinely fun, striking a balance that made the tour feel effortless and engaging. We have joined Ivano several times on tours. We have not done the Vespa tour yet but have done golf cart tours, car, train and on foot. He cares very much about providing a top notch experience and runs a very professional operation. Ivano is extremely knowledgeable of the areas he takes you to, the history…all the best things to see and places to eat. His other drivers and tour guides are wonderful too. My wife and I headed to Italy for our 25th anniversary and our first stop was Rome. Our time there was fantastic but by far our favorite activity was riding a Vespa sidecar with Ivano guiding us through the city. His knowledge and passion for Rome made us smile for the entire 90 minute tour. It was a great way to learn the lay of the city and and see the highlights in such a short time. Added bonus was the smile on random people's faces as they waved to us on our tour. If you've never been to Rome, this is a fantastic way to start your visit. ~ Mike S

A fantastic way to see Rome’s highlights and have great fun at the same time! I booked this with my parents (mid-80’s) and sister/brother-in-law as we had only a few hours to visit Rome from our cruise ship. As some of the party had mobility issues we wanted something that could get us around the city easily and without much walking around or waiting. The Vespa and side car tour was perfect! My dad needed a bit of help to get out of the side car, but the guide/drivers were always able to step in and help there - a BIG thanks to Maurizio, Claudio and Valerio for this as well as the safe and fun navigation!! We were each given earphones so we could get an excellent commentary from Valerio as we zipped down the Roman streets. The size of the Vespas meant we could get down narrow streets and very close to the main attractions. Plus as a private tour we were able to get the pick up and drop off locations to be perfectly suited to our cruise ship transfers. Will look to do again next time I visit Rome - it was already my sister’s second time! - and would thoroughly recommend. ~ John R

Wow, this tour was sooo cool!! 😃 Our guide, Luca, was super friendly and knew so much about Rome—like, not just the big touristy stuff but also little hidden gems. 🏛️✨ Riding through the tiny streets felt like being in a movie, and the kids couldn’t stop laughing every time we zoomed past people staring at us lol. Only thing, it gets a bit windy, so bring a light jacket if you do it in the evening. But honestly, 1000% worth it!! If you're in Rome, just do it. You won’t regret it! 🇮🇹🛵 ~ Pauline G

What an incredible experience! Our sidecar tour around Rome was hands down the most fun thing we’ve done so far on this trip. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Vespa Sidecar tours. It’s a great way to see the city - the tour was such great fun and our drivers Claudio and I’m sorry I have forgotten our guide’s name - were brilliant, knowledgeable and really helpful, waiting for us to take photos etc. The accessibility of the vespas allows you to access little narrow steets. David is the best guide in Rome! We enjoyed every second of our 2.5 Vespa side car tour - 3 vespas, 6 people! Three amazing drivers - David, Armand and Claudio. What a fantastic evening! This was our final activity after 3 weeks in the Mediterranean and it was a super send off. My mom who originally was worried about getting in and out of the sidecar said it was her favorite activity she did in Rome ever and my sister said it was the highlight of the entire trip. By far and away the best way to see Rome! Valerio, a true Roman gentlemen, was fantastic as our guide.
